Romantic Ohio Winter Wedding : Jessica + Matt

LOCATION : Van Wert, Ohio

Jessica and Matt tied the knot in a romantic winter wedding at an absolutely breathtaking church that was special to them and their family.. I traveled up to Van Wert, OH to capture these two on their best day ever. Jess and Matt are two people who genuinely know how to make everyone around them feel so seen and so loved, and this day was no exception to that. With over 300 guests, the love this couple radiated for their family and friends was so evident. 

These two did not miss a single detail in their big day!

From the little details such as Jessica’s grandmother making her veil, Matt’s statement velvet green suit jacket to the really big intentional details like their choreographed waltz and the receiving line to personally greet each guest, this day was pure magic. It was super cold out and they even got some snow flurries, but this crew never complained!

One of the most fun and unique things they did on their day was take a party bus with their wedding party to and from different locations for photos on the way to the reception after leaving the ceremony. I got to hang out on the party bus with them and got some fun photos there, as well as the different spots we stopped at (including their favorite local bar for a round of shots!).

At the reception, they honored their parents with special dances just for them, as well as an anniversary dance which is always so special! Jess ended the evening changing into a FUN sparkly reception dress and they quite literally danced the night away. It’s safe to say this day was the perfect way to kick off my 2023 wedding season!!!
