Getting to come alongside YOU and your person and document your love story in the way it’s meant to be told is one of my most favorite things ever and truly one of the greatest joys of my life. It’s my hope that I would capture your connection in a way that makes you truly feel the emotion and love you share through the photos. I freaking LOVE love and having the opportunity to capture that and freeze those moments in time makes my heart skip a beat.

If you would have told me back when I was working as a nurse that one day I’d be a full-time wedding photographer capturing people’s biggest and happiest moments of their lives, I probably would’ve started crying tears of joy. I can say that from the bottom of my heart, I absolutely LOVE what I do and I love even more the people that I get to do it for. It is an honor that I do not take lightly.

I believe wholeheartedly that every single person was made in the image of God and has worth, purpose, and a beautiful story worth telling. When I’m not photographing the most incredible people or coaching wedding photographers to uplevel their business, you can probably find me sipping iced lavender lattes on a coffee date with a friend, renovating our 1966 fixer-upper home with my husband, reading a dang good book while out on the boat soaking up the sunshine, or singing my heart out at a country concert. The first time we met was for our engagement session, when I say my husband isn’t a photogenic person…he is shy in front of the camera. Julia made us both feel so comfortable that he let his guard down and we have so many AMAZING photos because of this. I still go back through them, her work is absolutely amazing. We then threw a wrench in things and moved our wedding up an entire year, so two months before our new wedding date I texted her! She was so happy for us and we were able to work together to pick a day she had open! I didn’t want anyone else photographing my wedding!
