Hi, I’m Julia —
a wedding and lifestyle photographer, wife, older sister, your newest cheerleader + encourager, and most importantly, a daughter of the King. I’m mildly obsessed with dogs (especially my bernese mountain dog) and chipotle burrito bowls. When I’m not photographing the most incredible people, you can usually find me sipping iced lavender lattes on a coffee date with a friend, renovating our 1966 fixer-upper with my husband, curled up on the couch reading a good book, or singing my heart out at a country concert. The heart behind absolutely everything I do is to love God and love people.

This guy is my best friend and the love of my life. He has shown me what it means to love wholeheartedly + unconditionally. He encourages me, cheers me on through the ups and the downs, and makes me feel like the most beautiful girl in the world. Getting to come alongside YOU and your person and document your love story in the way it’s meant to be told is one of my most favorite things ever. I can’t wait to hear alllllll the sweet sweet details about you and your forever person. It’s my hope that I would capture that connection in a way that makes you truly feel the emotion and love you share through the photos.

my Bible + journal, my sweet puppies (+ your’s too!), exploring national parks, reading, renovating our 1966 fixer upper, adding to my spotify playlists, iced coffee (yes, even in the winter), chipotle, summer lake days spent on the boat, pizza every friday night, country concerts, getting in the hot tub after a killer crossfit workout, in-n-out, taylor swift, riding in the jeep with the top off, snoozing my alarm (a few too many times…), movie nights at my grandparents house, the aisle seat on an airplane, game nights with my family, Italy in the summer, justin timberlake, watching the sunset, matching pj sets, the enneagram (i’m a 2w3!), Alabama football, fresh flowers on the kitchen table, Handel’s ice cream, making new friends (which now includes you!)
How I roll:
From the initial inquiry and beyond the completion of your session, I am completely invested in you and your story. I believe wholeheartedly that every single person was made in the image of God and has worth, purpose, and a beautiful story worth telling. It is the greatest honor to be able to capture even a little bit of that through the lens. I love being able to document some of the most important and authentic moments of your lives. I’m a firm believer that your wedding day or your session should reflect YOU to the core. I’m here for the real moments + genuine laughter, none of that awkwardly posed stuff! Don’t worry— I’ll prompt you and help you fall into natural, real poses and by the end you’ll be feelin’ like professional models. I’m a self-proclaimed goofball and it’s my hope that by building a friendship first and then showing up as 100% myself, it’ll help you feel more comfortable in front of the camera. If you’re ready to jam out to a bomb playlist, laugh A LOT, and leave feeling encouraged + uplifted, then I’m the photographer for you. I am passionate that your session should be more than just a session but an experience (and not just an experience, but an amazing one at that).
